AMD 23.9.1 Graphics Driver Release: Add two new features called Anti-Lag + and HYPR-RX

Today, a new AMD graphics driver called 23.9.1 WHQL was released, and it comes with some new features. They’ve added two amazing features called Anti-Lag + and HYPR-RX. Anti-Lag + helps reduce the delay between your actions and what you see on the screen, making your gaming experience more responsive.

AMD mentioned HYPR-RX graphics card one-click performance improvement technology at last year’s RX 7900 graphics card launch. This is a one-click performance-boosting technology that combines Radeon Super Resolution, Radeon Boost and Radeon Anti-Lag. Through this technology, players will be able to choose the most suitable profile for the game. As shown in the figure above, after turning on HYPR-RX on RX 7800 XT, it has improved frame rates and reduced latency in many games.

AMD Radeon Anti-Lag+ further reduces input lag

AMD Radeon Anti-Lag+ is like a superpower for gamers using fancy AMD RDNA 3 graphics cards, like the Radeon RX 7000 series and up. It’s like having a smart helper that looks at each game you play and makes it run even smoother. This means less delay between your commands and what happens on the screen, making your gaming experience super responsive. It’s like magic for your gaming rig!

AMD Radeon Boost now supports AMD Radeon Anti-Lag+ and improves image quality by sensing mouse sensitivity, reducing the impact of dynamic resolution switching during motion (commonly seen in high DPI mice) on image quality.

AMD Radeon Anti-Lag+ initially supports 12 games, with new game support to be released in the coming months via AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition updates.
